I went back to New York to visit some friends last week and to absolutely no one's surprise, I took a ton of photos while I was there. I ate my way through the city, went to Belmont Stakes (a once in a lifetime experience that I truly only want to experience once in my lifetime), and returned to l'Appartement Sezane (as seen in my New York, New York post) because it's a floral-loving blogger's dream. If you're looking to live vicariously, or are simply seeking some travel inspiration, look no further!
Fall Essentials: Three Rompers Styled Three Ways
One of my more superficial goals this year was to get better at outfit preparation. While I don't think I'll ever be the type of person who lays out their outfit the night before, I've gotten good at only purchasing items that are multipurpose, and that I can easily dress up or down. My favourite thing to do this summer was to wear a romper because it made getting dressed so much simpler (a.k.a. I never had to waste 5 minutes worrying about whether my top went with my pants, or went too well with my pants), and it was easy to make more formal on the fly if I was going out at night. Even though it's officially fall, it's been sunny and warm with blue skies in Toronto, so I thought I'd share my favourite three rompers with you, and three ways I style them.
New Year, New You, New Watch! (*Giveaway*)
Wood watches have been taking the internet by storm and I have been extremely tempted to try one for months. I've been searching for quite some time for a watch that's significantly lighter than my metal one, yet still looks more professional than a plastic one. So naturally, when JORD approached me for a collaboration and giveaway opportunity, I couldn't say no.
Nordstrom Takes Toronto With Yorkdale and Eaton Centre Galas
Nordstrom has officially landed in Toronto! Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that over the past two months Nordstrom's opened two major locations in Toronto: one at the Eaton Centre and one at Yorkdale.
Nordstrom Heads North: Beauty Binging & Camp Nordstrom
Nordstrom is finally(!) opening it’s doors here in Canada this fall, and saying I'm excited would be an understatement. In celebration of Nordstrom's arrival in Toronto, I was invited to get a sneak peak of their stunning beauty section and to attend Camp Nordstrom (a fitness bootcamp).
Christmas in NYC 2015
If you read my post from last Christmas, you'll know I'm a Christmas enthusiast. I LOVE Christmas. I LIVE for Christmas. I am the person who's Christmas lights go up in October and come down in April, and who watches Love Actually and listens to Michael Buble's Christmas album in the middle of July. Naturally I die a little bit when NYC whips out the insane Christmas decorations and window displays to celebrate the holiday season, so spending Christmas there again was a dream come true.
A Very Merry New York Christmas
Christmas in New York is simultaneously one of the most beautiful and terrifying things I have ever experienced. Beautiful in the sense that it promotes more Christmas cheer than "Whoville", and terrifying in the sense that, if possible, the city is 10 times busier than it is normally. As a self-proclaimed Christmas enthusiast, I loved every minute of it.
