The Cover Songs You Didn't Know You Needed

I love covers. Although they're a little controversial with some people refusing to believe that anything can be as good as the original, I think it's so cool to see what talented people can do with great songs.

Below are some of my favourite, relatively underrated, covers of "Sunday Morning", "Rather Be", "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and "Blank Space" from the past few months.

THE GEORGE TWINS

19-year-old brothers who, as you may have guessed from their name, are indeed twins. Besides being easy on the eyes, they're ridiculously talented, and recently did two covers in collaboration with one of my favourite music producers, Kurt Hugo Schneider. They covered "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5 and "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit, and I am obsessed with their rendition of both songs. Check out their YouTube channel for more covers here.

ALEXI BLUE

I've been subscribed to Alexi Blue's YouTube channel for months now. She has a killer voice and manages to make me like songs that I can't stand the original versions of. Below are is her cover of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. Enjoy!
